Who we are

By Reem is a family-run home bakery offering online orders, pre-orders, catering and pop-ups. This page explains what happens with your information when you use our website. The short version: almost nothing — we built this site to be as private as a family kitchen.

What we collect

Our website has no user accounts, no tracking pixels, no analytics, and no advertising. We do not use cookies. We do not store any of your information on a server, because the site has no server — it is a simple page that runs in your browser.

One small exception: when you add items to your cart, the list of items is saved in your own browser's local storage so your cart survives between our menu page and checkout. It never leaves your device, we cannot see it, and it is cleared when you send your order (or whenever you clear your browser data).

Orders and inquiries

When you fill out our pre-order or catering form and press send, the information you typed (your name, your order, your event details, and any notes) is composed into a WhatsApp message on your own device. Nothing is sent anywhere until you press send inside WhatsApp yourself. From that point, your message is handled by WhatsApp and subject to WhatsApp's privacy policy. We keep your order messages only as long as needed to bake, deliver, and remember what your family loves.

What we do with your information

We use your order details to make your order, contact you about it, and nothing else. We never sell, rent, or share your information with anyone. We will never message you with marketing unless you have asked us to.

Allergy information

If you share allergy or dietary details with us, we use them solely to prepare your order safely. Please always communicate serious allergies directly in WhatsApp so we can confirm them with you personally.

The videos on our site

The home videos playing across our website are our own family's memories — the baker's parents, husband, sons, and dog. They are shared with the family's consent, and they are the whole point.

Third-party links

Our site links to Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and WhatsApp. Once you leave our page, those platforms' own privacy policies apply. Our site also loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may log basic technical requests (like your IP address) when the font files are fetched.

Children

Our website does not knowingly collect anything from anyone — including children. If a child sends us an order, we will ask to speak with a parent before baking anything.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change how this site handles information, we will update this page and the date at the top. Given how little we collect, we do not expect much news here.
